For Friends of Barnes Common (FoBC), our initial task centered on creating a new website.
This platform was envisioned as a comprehensive informational hub, designed to provide easy access to details about the Common and its numerous events. Our goal was to create a digital space that not only informed but also engaged the community, drawing them closer to the conservation efforts.
To enhance the website’s functionality and user experience, we integrated Eventbrite for event management and introduced a donation system. The Eventbrite integration allowed for seamless event discovery, registration, and management, making it simpler for visitors to participate in FoBC’s activities. The donation system we developed enabled FoBC to secure financial contributions directly through the website, supporting their conservation initiatives effectively.
Throughout the project, we committed to refining the website’s design and functionality through multiple iterations. By continuously iterating on the design, we were able to craft a digital platform that truly reflects the essence of Friends of Barnes Common, promoting their mission of conservation, preservation, and community engagement in an intuitive and accessible manner.
